My problem is I'm just really inconsistent. My art is really hit or miss. I have to get lucky and be in just the right mood for shit to flow.
And if I'm not, watch the fuck out.

i'm the same way, at least half of what i draw is shit. but the good thing about drawing piles and piles of shit is it's good practice for when you can get into the flow. plus it makes the good ones special- nobody hits a home run every time they're up to bat.

Oh, I know. It's funny because I harp on and on about challenges and making mistakes in printmaking, and how I have to learn from those mistakes, etc.
It's just when it comes to the creative process that involves basic artistic ability, that's when I take the biggest hit. I can't dig myself back out of that hole.
